AID researchers are drawn from infectious disease experts from across QIMR and UQ who apply leading technologies to identify, understand and prevent infectious disease.

Associate Professor Malcolm Jones

Associate Professor Malcolm Jones is researching the biology and control of pathogenic helminth (worm) infections of humans and animals, notably schistosomiasis, echinococcosis and angiostrongyliasis.

He chairs the organizing committee for the XIX International Congress for Tropical Medicine and Malaria, to be held in Brisbane in 2016.
