Sassan Asgari

Professor Sassan Asgari’s research focuses on insect host-disease interactions, especially the role of small RNA molecules (microRNAs).

He is interested in the impact of insect diseases and infectious mosquito-transmitted viruses (such as Dengue and West Nile viruses).

His research may lead to new approaches to limit or inhibit the transmission of vector-borne infectious diseases.
