Professor Mark Kendall invented the Nanopatch, a needle-free vaccine delivery device which is under rapid research and development to product through spin-out company Vaxxas.

Professor Kendall is a 2012 Rolex Laureate, recognising pioneering efforts to expand knowledge and improve human life. His research interests span biomedical engineering, diagnostics, dermatology, and vaccinology.
