Professor Jenny Martin (ARC Laureate)
Professor Jenny Martin is an Australian Research Council Australian Laureate Fellow at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland.
Prof. Martin's research in infectious diseases is aimed at developing inhibitors of the Dsb proteins as potential anti-virulence agents.
Her lab has solved the crystal structures of several DsbA proteins including those from Escherichia coli, Vibrio cholerae, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Wolbachia pipientis and these are now being used in structure-based approaches to develop inhibitors.
